PM Imran meets CM Punjab Usman Buzdar

Prime Minister Imran Khan met with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar here on Friday.

During the meeting, the political status of the province was also discussed and Prime Minister Imran expressed confidence in CM Punjab's actions.

Salahuddin Ayubi, an alleged thief with mental problems, has died in the custody of Punjab police, after which people were angered by the incident.

He also spoke about the current political situation and expressed confidence in Buzdar's activities in Punjab.

Meanwhile, Chief Inspector of Police (IGP) of the Punjab (R) Arif Nawaz Khan wrote to the CCPO Lahore, all CPOs and DPOs of the RPO, in which he expressed his dissent. prison torture, death and unlawful detention. and warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate the new rules.

The IGP also ordered the Office of Homeland Security to take immediate action against persons involved in custody deaths and for zero tolerance in the case of unlawful torture, death or detention.

This development follows allegations of brutality against Punjab police.

The Prime Minister previously emphasized that law enforcement agencies are not acceptable.

He also ordered an investigation into the death of a "suspected cash theft suspect" in police custody.
