Oil prices will probably be reduced



Fuel prices in Pakistan are likely to be reduced, as the Petroleum Division on Friday received a summary that recommends a reduction in rates.

The government has decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products and provide relief to tired people.

According to the details, the price of high-speed diesel will presumably be reduced by Rs7.67, Light Diesel at Rs5.63 and gasoline at Rs4.59 and kerosene oil at Rs4.27.

The final decision will be made by the Ministry of Finance and the new prices will be implemented as of September 1.

In early July, the government had raised the prices of petroleum products.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) sent a summary to increase the prices of petroleum products.

According to the details, the government had increased the prices of petroleum products by throwing gasoline bombs on people.

The price of gasoline increased by Rs5 to 15 paisa by the government, after which the new price of gasoline increased by 117.83 paisa.

The diesel price was approved to increase by Rs5 to Rs65, after which the new diesel price was set at Rs13247 per liter.

The price of light diesel has increased by Rs8 to 90 paisa per liter, while the new price of light diesel has increased to 90.52 while the price of kerosene has increased by Rs5 to 38 paisa per liter.
