CM Sindh visits Rashid Minhas' home due to defense day

On Pakistan Defense and Martyrs Day, Prime Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the home of pilot officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed.

According to the details, CM Sindh visited the house of Rashid Minhas Shaheed (Nishan-i-Haider) on Friday and paid tribute to the children of the land who embraced martyrdom during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, and spent time with their family.

While speaking in the media, Murad Ali Shah said that Shaheed Rashid Minhas put his life at an early age while fighting for the defense of the country, his name will always be remembered, he added.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot officer, Rashid Minhas, is the only PAF officer who received the highest value award, the Nishan-e-Haider.

He is also the youngest person and the shortest service officer who has received the highest military honor from Pakistan.

He embraced martyrdom during 1971 in a jet trainer accident while struggling to regain the controls of a defective pilot.

It should be noted that today, on September 6, Pakistan is observing Defense Day with patriotic feelings in solidarity with the people of Kashmir occupied by India today.

This year, Defense Day is seen as a day to express solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.

The celebrations began with a greeting of 31 weapons in memory of the martyrs in the capital Islamabad and a greeting of 21 weapons in all the provincial capitals.

Special prayers were made for the stability and security of the country, and for the freedom of the cashmere after the prayers of Fajar.
